Spanish phone chips are available from your Rep. If your mobile is open to all networks you can replace your chip with a Spanish one. These are approximately €25, with €10 free credit. If you want to keep your existing number, you could simply buy a whole new phone. This will only set you back around €40 with Spanish chip and €10 credit. Not bad!

Internet shops and cafes are inexpensive and are within walking distance of your accommodation. You Rep will be pleased to point you in the right direction

Phone boxes are everywhere on Tenerife, but beware as some are more expensive than others. It is a good idea to buy a phone card as this will allow you to keep in touch with your family and friends in the UK at a lower cost.

Snail mail - The post from Tenerife to the UK can be unpredictable. Sometimes it can arrive in 2-3 days, and sometimes it may take 2-3 weeks! We wouldn't recommend that you send anything more important than post cards through the mail. Anything more important should be sent by email or courier. Your Rep can give you more information about courier services.
